Expert in civil marriages abroad
For years, the law office of Attorney Graciela Muzio has been engaged in conducting civil marriages in the Republic of El Salvador, in collaboration with local attorneys who maintain direct connections with the authorities. With strict adherence to local laws, the marriages conducted are registered in the local family registry and serve as legal proof of the validity of the marriage. Additionally, the couple receives an original marriage certificate with an 'Apostille' stamp and a notarized translation, as well as a prenuptial protocol with a notarized translation. The couple does not need to be present.
The Law Office of Graciela Muzio conducted a legal battle to promote civil marriages in Israel against the Ministry of Interior, within the framework of HCJ 4916/04 Zalsky et al. v. Minister of Interior et al. (published in 'Nevo'). In 2011, retired Justice A. Procaccia issued a landmark ruling, which unequivocally and explicitly recognized the obligation of the authorities to register civil marriages conducted abroad and to initiate the naturalization process as a result.
