Adv. Gilat Avidan holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Tel Aviv University and a Master of Laws (LL.M) with honors from Bar-Ilan University. She has been an attorney since 1996.

Adv. Gilat Avidan has been practicing for over 22 years in the field of civil law, with an emphasis on insolvency and enforcement, as well as hospitality.

In her role, she represents creditors in collection proceedings in thousands of enforcement cases, many of which involve objections to the enforcement of a bill and civil proceedings. She also represents hundreds of debtors in bill enforcement requests and insolvency proceedings.

Adv. Gilat Avidan has extensive experience in bill law, enforcement law, banking, and non-bank loans, and her office provides advice and guidance in these areas.

Additionally, Adv. Gilat Avidan assists many debtors in insolvency proceedings, from filing requests for payment orders to managing case consolidations (in the regular track or discharge track) and bankruptcy requests up to the discharge stage. She deals with voluntary and involuntary company liquidations, including involuntary liquidation at the request of a creditor.

Another main area of practice for Adv. Gilat Avidan is hospitality. She represents a well-known hotel chain, focusing on boutique hotels. In this capacity, she is involved in negotiations and drafting highly complex contracts, from the initiation and establishment of the hotel to agreements with property owners and professionals.
