Attorney Batzalel Avitbul holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Netanya Academic College, a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, and a Master's degree in Legal Studies from Bar-Ilan University. He is also a mediator, a senior payroll accountant certified by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a certified wage inspector by the Ministry of Economy.

Attorney Batzalel Avitbul worked in the legal department of the National Insurance Institute, where he was exposed to labor law, wage obligations from employers, and more.

Additionally, he worked at the Population and Immigration Authority, where he served for five years as the head of the immigration unit for the Tel Aviv area (Gush Dan), responsible for the detention and deportation of illegal foreign workers, investigation of employers of infiltrators and illegal foreign workers and/or contrary to law (medical insurance, deposits, etc.), issuance of various stay and work permits, and handling marriage and paternity issues among visa applicants.

Furthermore, Attorney Batzalel Avitbul served as the disciplinary officer of the Population and Immigration Authority, handling disciplinary and/or criminal proceedings against authority employees (hearings, proceedings before the disciplinary court, investigations by the Civil Service Commission, suspensions, dismissals, suitability, medical committees, etc.).
