A few years ago, I lived in a rented apartment with my wife and two children. During the rental period, the apartment was sold to another person who demanded that we vacate the apartment immediately, violating the contract and without any consideration for the agreement signed with the previous owner, nor giving us time to find a new place despite our many pleas. After several weeks of trying to reach an understanding with the new owner, he decided to file a lawsuit against us and demanded compensation of tens of thousands of shekels.
