Dr. Shmuel Wolfman has gained extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and currently represents plaintiffs in medical malpractice and medical law, as well as teaching at universities and colleges.
Dr. Wolfman, Adv. holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and a Doctorate from Tel Aviv University. Dr. Wolfman's doctoral thesis combines topics of medicine, law, and Jewish law in family law.
Dr. Wolfman, Adv. has a background of over 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He has held various management positions in the field, such as Deputy CEO of Agis Pharmaceuticals and CEO of a biotechnology company engaged in the development of new drugs. Dr. Wolfman utilizes the extensive medical knowledge he has accumulated in the pharmaceutical industry to assist and represent clients before medical committees at the National Insurance Institute, the Ministry of Defense, and health funds.
Dr. Wolfman, Adv. is thoroughly familiar with the medical establishment and specializes in matters related to medicine and law: medical malpractice, claims against health funds and hospitals, patients' rights against various health institutions, including committees of the National Insurance Institute and the Ministry of Defense, involuntary hospitalizations, issues related to the Mental Health Treatment Law, medical ethics, paternity tests, enforcement\/prevention of medical treatments, medical insurance, and more.
