Attorney Goverin has written two books during his career, one of which deals with the field of light aviation with an emphasis on "ultralight":

"Tree, Luck, and Life"
This is a journey story of the author and his brother to discover the history of their father and family members before and during the Holocaust. On the day the German army entered the city of Riga, approximately 95,000 Jews lived in Latvia. By the end of World War II, only about 1,000 Jews from that community remained alive. The author's father and grandfather were among those few who survived. The book attempts to offer an explanation as to why the author's father and grandfather survived the Holocaust while all other family members perished, and presents a possible lesson that can be learned from it.

"Dame"
A glimpse into the world of light sport aviation (ultralights), through the description of an investigation into the crash of an ultralight type 'trike'. A young investigator, the book's protagonist, who suffers from a difficulty in understanding social communication conveyed between people through body language and nuances in language, participates in the investigation. The protagonist deals with his objective difficulties by participating in a rueda dance class (a type of salsa) and uses his unique ability to 'see words' and assess the reliability of people speaking to him to uncover the surprising sequence of events that led to the ultralight crash.
