Throughout the country
Attorney Irina Fein represents soldiers in military courts across the country. She is a Lieutenant Colonel in the reserves after many years of service in the Military Advocate General's Corps. Services are available in Hebrew and Russian.
Attorney and Notary Irina Fein holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Law from the Hebrew University. She has been practicing law since 1990. A Lieutenant Colonel in the reserves after many years of service in the Military Advocate General's Corps, she is the author of the book "The Criminal Law in the IDF" (1300 pages), which is used as a textbook in all universities in the country and was recently cited by the Supreme Court. She appears in military courts in all districts and before various military tribunals.
Attorney Fein represents soldiers and commanders in a variety of offenses discussed in military courts, such as desertion, drugs, sexual harassment, theft of weapons and property, loss of weapons and property, traffic offenses, causing death, and more. She is involved at all stages of the process, from consultation and guidance before the investigation, through the arrest stage and management of evidence, to the stage of sentencing arguments and appeal.
While handling cases, Attorney Irina Fein strives to exhaust all possibilities to prevent conviction and a criminal record, and to mitigate the sentence. In appropriate cases, she seeks to release individuals from the army to reduce the period of the criminal record.
In cases of overseas deserters (most of whom are children of emigrants who were over 16 when they left the country), Attorney Fein strives for status arrangements that prevent arrest at the airport upon their arrival in the country and maximize leniencies regarding the charges, criminal record, and punishment.
Moreover, Attorney Fein handles the erasure of the criminal record imposed on discharged soldiers in the shortest possible time by appealing to the President of the State and the appropriate military tribunals.
Additionally, Attorney Fein provides soldiers and their parents with advisory services, accompaniment, and defense opinions in the IDF disciplinary process conducted by commanders, as well as drafting and accompanying complaints to the Commissioner for Soldiers' Complaints.
Attorney Irina Fein, born in 1966, immigrated to Israel with her parents from Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) in Russia in 1978 and was educated in both Hebrew and Russian languages. She is fluent in both languages, in speaking, reading, and writing.
Attorney Irina Fein is available from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM every day of the week. In case of no answer, you can leave a voice or written message, and Attorney Fein will get back to you as soon as possible.
