Dotan Shaya is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Bar-Ilan University and was admitted as a lawyer in 2005.
During his studies, Dotan Shaya served as a research assistant to Professor (Emeritus) Aharon Enker and also served for two years as a teaching assistant in the course 'Economic Analysis of Legal Problems'. In 2014, he established his private practice - Dotan Shaya, Law Firm.
Attorney Dotan Shaya worked for nearly a decade in some of the largest and leading law firms in Israel in the field of civil-commercial law, starting at Yossi Levy & Co. (now Levy Meidan & Co.), through a period at Lipa Meir & Co., and concluding with work as a lawyer in the litigation department at Shadot & Co. (now Shadot, Meholal, Eitan & Co.) (about two years), and at Granot & Co. (about 6 years).
In his role at Granot & Co., Attorney Shaya was responsible for the entire litigation field in the firm, and among other things, was in charge of all legal representation of the firm's major clients. Over the years, he has represented some of the largest corporations in the market, hotel chains, various Israeli banks, and private clients, including in high-profile class actions and financial claims.
