Lieutenant Colonel (active reserve) Victor Haim serves in the Internal Investigations Unit of the IDF Manpower Directorate (the military equivalent of the Department for Internal Police Investigations in the Ministry of Justice) and is currently the Deputy Commander of the unit. In this role, he is responsible for managing all criminal investigations into offenses committed by members of the Military Police.
He completed his military service with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel after a long career in the Military Police Investigations Unit (MPIU), during which he held senior command positions, including commanding the Central Unit for Special Investigations and serving as the Commander of the Central District MPIU.
During his service, he led and participated in complex and sensitive investigations both domestically and abroad, including investigations in IDF attaché offices in the USA, Turkey, and Switzerland, large weapons cases, drug smuggling, and more.
He holds a Bachelor's degree from Ono Academic College, a Master's degree in Law from Bar-Ilan University, and an additional degree in the History of the Jewish People and Africa from Tel Aviv University.
He is a graduate of the IDF Command and Staff College.
Upon completing his legal studies and discharge from the IDF, he interned in the Legal Advisor's Department of the Jerusalem Municipality in the field of labor and disciplinary law.
In his military service and internship, he gained extensive experience in criminal law and labor relations.
