hello
me and my fiancé are getting married on the 4th of july in Israel at a place called El Hamam . we already signed the contract with them and payed them their deposit. Two days ago we had our tastings (6 months before the wedding because we are on a visit here) and we didn't like the food. what do we do ? can we cancel on that basis? we didn't add anything to the contract that say that if we don't like the food then it is canceled. I know there is a thing called "tluy teimot", and we didn't add that to the contract. it does say in the contract that we will need to pay a fine if we cancel for a reason that has nothing to do with the Hamam
please help
Hello
You just need to contact the place and cancel the contract.
6 months is lot of time and i dont see any reason why not to cancel the it.
Did you try to contact the place and ask for cancel ? Did you receive any answer from them ?
Regards.

Hi, Thank you for the fast reply. I didn't contact the place yet, I wanted to know my rights first. I had my fiancé call them and they said come for second tastings and we will see what happen next. they didn't gave us a solid answer so Im not sure if the deposit we will get back.
I am just worried because we have nothing on the contract that say that we can cancel if the food is not to our liking.
Hello
Yes i understand. If they have a terrible contract its not your fault.
In every situation there a way to cancel contract even if its doesnt say so.
I think it ]will be better for you to send a letter (by yourself or with lawyer) and ask for cancel.
i believe you will need to pay some money for the cancelation but you can cancel the contract even if theres nothing about it in the contract.
If you need help with the letter you can contact me.
good luck/
